Terms and conditions for buyers TravelMatch 2023

 

1. Participants attending TravelMatch as buyers shall be representing Norwegian or Scandinavian/Nordic companies, such as travel agents, tour operators, event companies and other types of producers and distributors of travel services for outbound travel.

2. The organizer holds the right to refuse any buyer registering who does not meet the criteria as buyer.

3. It is not allowed to register as buyer if the main focus is to promote services of any kind to registered sellers at the event. Any report of such activity will cause a cancellation of the person from any invitation lists for TravelMatch.

4. All buyers need to register to have access to the online platform for the event, no matter the number of meetings that will be booked in advance.

5. All meetings should be booked online in advance. However, additional meetings can also be booked on site based on the availability of sellers.

6. Both buyers and sellers have the option of requesting meetings in the system when the matchmaking option opens, but the other party always have the right to approve or refuse the meeting request. Buyers are kindly asked to respond promptly to requests from sellers, no matter if it is of interest or not, to avoid unnecessary blocking of time slots.

7. If two persons from the same company want to share the meetings, one shall register and book the meetings. When the registration has been approved, the other person from the company can be added in the system by using the function “add another person/delegate”.

8. All registered buyers are welcome to attend the event free of charge, including the meetings, meal service, optional seminars and any information being distributed.

9. In case a buyer need to cancel the attendance after booking meetings for the event, this person should make efforts to find a replacement from his/her company to do the meetings. If this is not possible, the actual sellers shall be notified directly by the buyer.

10. No shows, partial or full, shall be invoiced with a fee of NOK 500.

11. Only registered participants wearing a name badge for the event shall be allowed to enter the venue.

12. All buyers are requested to respect the GDPR laws, which means they need the permission to contact sellers by their personal email etc.. However, all sellers can of course be contacted through the database for TravelMatch, and the laws does not affect the booking of meetings.

13. All registered buyers agree to receive information from the TravelMatch organizer, both related to the event they register for, as well as invitations for future TM events. However, the contact information shall not be transferred to others or used for other purposes.

14. All registered participants accept to be stored in the database for at least one year, until the next TravelMatch event, as well as in the mailing list for the TravelMatch organizer for future event information.

15. If requested, the person can be removed from the mailing lists at any time by informing the organizer.
