Terms and conditions for media TravelMatch 2023

 

1. Participants attending TravelMatch as media shall be representing Norwegian or Scandinavian/Nordic companies focusing on travel and tourism, spanning all types of media, printed or digital, as well as travel bloggers.

2. The organizer holds the right to refuse any media representative or freelancer registering who does not meet the criteria for attending.

3. It is not allowed to register as media if the main focus is to promote services of any kind to registered sellers at the event. Any report of such activity will cause a cancellation of the person from any invitation lists for TravelMatch.

4. All media representatives need to register to have access to the online platform for the event, no matter if meetings have been booked in advance.

5. As a general rule, all meetings should be booked online in advance. However, additional meetings can be booked on site based on the availability of sellers.

6. All registered attendees have the possibility of requesting meetings, but the other party always have the right to approve or refuse requested meetings. Media representatives are kindly asked to respond promptly to requests from sellers, also when they are not of interest.

7. All registered media representatives are welcome to attend the event free of charge, including the meetings, meal service, optional seminars and information being distributed.

8. In case a media representative need to cancel the attendance after booking meetings for the event, and there is nobody else to replace him/her, the actual sellers shall be notified directly by the media representative. The organizer shall also be notified.

9. No shows, partial or full, shall be invoiced with a fee of NOK 500.

10. Only registered attendees wearing a name badge for the event shall be allowed to enter the venue.

11. All media representatives are also requested to respect the GDPR laws, which means they need the permission to contact sellers by their personal email etc.. However, all sellers can of course be contacted through the database for TravelMatch, and the laws does not affect the booking of meetings.

12. All registered media representatives agree to receive information from the TravelMatch organizer, both related to the event they are registered for, as well as invitations for future TM events. However, the contact information shall not be transferred to others or used for other purposes.

13. All registered participants accept to be stored in the database for at least one year, until the next TravelMatch event, as well as in the mailing list for the TravelMatch organizer for future event information.

14. If requested, a person can be removed from the mailing list at any time by informing the organizer.
